If you've ummed and ahhed about the Anastasia Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette for a while and you haven't yet bit the bullet, I'm gonna tell you to just hurry the hell up because you are seriously missing out. You can probably all guess that the luxe pink design definitely drew me in when I first saw it on Norvina's  Instagram page, I just love pretty packaging so sue me. But once I saw the how beautiful and unique the shades were my purse practically begged me to splurge (honestly).

The shade selection is utterly gorgeous and like no other eyeshadow palette I own, or on the market for that matter. Those stunning pink berry tones just look so damn good on everyone that I've seen use it! The shadows themselves are so buttery soft, blend like an absolute dream and are by far the best quality eyeshadows I've ever owned. In fact, I now want to make a purchase of ABH's solo eyeshadow pans because they are just that good. Plus the brush that comes with the palette is also pretty decent.

I've been obsessed with the shade Vermeer which is a shimmery pink champagne shade that looks so gorgeous especially applied with Mac Fix +! I also really love Buon Fresco, which is a beautiful mauve shade which looks so pretty in the crease paired with Vermeer all over the lid. Love Letter is also one of those shades that just transforms any makeup look, the deep berry pink colour is so striking and surprisingly wearable once blended out! The whole palette is a lot more versatile than it looks and each shade just compliments the other so nicely.

I bought mine for £41 on  Cult Beauty, and whilst that price is seriously eye-watering, I don't regret it!

What do you think of the Modern Renaissance Palette?

xoxo

  3. I love the look of this palette but I'm resisting splurging on it because I'd rather buy their single eyeshadows. Hopefully they become available in the UK sometime soon as the shipping prices from Sephora are ridiculous! x
