Go To Eyeshadow Look | By Terry, Urban Decay & Too Faced
You know when you find a look you love so you become best buds and stick with it for what feels like all eternity?! Well that's what's happened at the moment with these guys. I've been obsessed with using my By Terry Bubble Glow Ombre Blackstar as a base, which gives a lovely pink vibe to the whole look. Then I'll go in with Almond Truffle from the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette on the outer corner of my eye and blended into the crease, a little bit of Sprinkles over the centre and inner part of the lid and Bordeaux to deepen the outer crease. The cherry on the cake though, is Urban Decay Sin which I pop over the top of the lid and in my inner corner, I spritz a little Mac Fix + on my brush when I apply this shade as it makes it extra shimmery and metallic! The finished look has a lovely pinky mauve tone to it which looks so pretty and girly, yet still totally wearable too.
Valentino | Donna Perfume
I received the nicest gift from the site Fragrance Direct (they sell loads of amazing high end brands at discounted prices!) in the form of the Valentino Donna perfume. I was having a really rubbish day and this totally cheered me up! I love everything about it from the powdery rose and vanilla scent to the beautiful blush pink glass bottle. Definitely one that's too pretty to not display on your vanity!
Little Miss | Bath Bombs
I came across the cutest little Etsy gift shop whilst I was browsing the site looking for cute homemade bath products. Little Miss was exactly what I had in mind as they sell lots of sweet bath items that are all packaged so pretty and pink. I bought a cute Unicorn shaped bath fizzer, some Fairy Dust bath fizz, and my favourite little pastel egg shaped bath bombs that come inside an adorable pink egg carton! They smell really lovely and fresh when you pop them into the bath and turn the water the same shade as they look.
Easter Treats | Mini Eggs
Obviously during the start of Spring and the run up to Easter, there are so many seasonal Easter themed chocolates and my faves have to be Mini Eggs! They are the yummiest and look so cute! See you next year little ones *sobs*
Urban Decay | Naked Skin Concealer
I decided it was about time I tried out the Urban Decay Concealer that everyone seems to rave about, so I could see what the fuss what about for myself. I will say it is an amazing concealer, it's got so much coverage that I think a little of this would even work well all over the face for minimal makeup days. It also feels lovely and creamy to apply, blends out nicely and stays put! I purchased the shade Light Neutral which I think is the lightest shade, but unfortunately I think it's a little too light for me even though I am super pale! I can get away with using it as a highlight though which it seems to be fab for, but I'd really like to try one for concealing underneath my eyes, and even another shade that's my exact face colour to conceal blemishes!
Bomb Cosmetics | Bath Bombs
Feeling spendy was a slight understatement when I made a order on the Bomb Cosmetics website. So. Many. Cute. Things! I did do a blog post about everything I bought if you'd like to read it here, but my favourite designs are Baby Shower which has a baby blue outer shell and sparkly pink bow, and Ice Cream Queen which is pastel pink with an ice cream on the top and lots of little pearls dotted around it. I also love Over The Rainbow which has the cutest little fluffy blue cloud design with a rainbow and gold stars, and Fairytale Fantasy which has a pretty little rosebud in the centre of it.
Easter Cake | Easter Bunny & Mini Eggs
Obviously I couldn't see Easter come and go without doing any Easter baking so I made this cute Easter Bunny and Mini Egg themed cake. It's a victoria sponge cake with jam and vanilla buttercream in the centre and I piped buttercream roses all around the cake before popping the cute Easter decorations on top! I've got the recipe here if you'd like to have a little read.
