YSL Lipstick | Rouge Volupte #7 Lingerie Pink & Rouge Pur Couture #10 Beige Tribute

YSL Rouge Pur Couture #10 Beige Tribute

YSL Rouge Volupte #7 Lingerie Pink

Swatches: Top - #10 Beige Tribute, Bottom - #7 Lingerie Pink
Wearing No.1 Beige Tribute
These two lipsticks mark the last of my makeup purchases before my October makeup spending ban (which I have kept up might I add), and my god aren't they just the dreamiest! I originally intended to only purchase the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in No.10 Beige Tribute as I'd been eyeing it up for a while, but when I got to the counter I had a mini 'oh screw it' moment and daringly bought a Rouge Volupte in No.7 Lingerie Pink aswell (those moments make me very very poor).

Beige Tribute is one of those must-have nude shades! It's a gorgeous cool toned, pinky beige which is so wearable on my skintone and doesn't wash me out at all. As a Rouge Pur Couture, it glides across the lips and has great pigmentation, the formula is lovely and creamy yet it still seems to stick around for a fair amount of time.

Lingerie Pink is one that I've been lusting after every since I started reading beauty blogs about 4 years ago. It is a gorgeous milky, candy pink shade which can look a bit barbie-esque if you apply too much, but when you pop a little bit on paired with a darker lip liner, it looks so pretty and girly! The Rouge Volupte's are just as pigmented as the Rouge Pur Couture, both swatches are just one swipe! This one applies like silk and feels like a dream to wear, although because of this it's not quite as long lasting on the lips as Beige Tribute!

Both are housed in the most gorgeous and classy gold packaging, that will look just beautiful sat on your dressing table. I can't choose which design I prefer!

Too Faced Splurge | Natural Eyes Palette, Love Flush Blush & Better Than Sex Mascara

Too Faced is one of my all time favourite brands, not only is the packaging always so insanely cute but the quality of their products is brilliant and I know I'm going to get my money's worth. The only problem for me is that trying to track down a counter in the UK can prove bloody hard work. I know it's available to buy online but it's just not the same as being able to see it and swatch it all in real life! So when I finally found a new counter in my local Debenhams store back at the start of September, I basically had a mini fit. No joke, I put the other makeup products I was thinking about buying straight down, and practically ran over to it like the little makeup geek I am.

Too Faced | Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette
I of course had to purchase this palette! I'd been lusting after it for the longest time and it just looked like the perfect neutral daytime palette. It has the prettiest mix of soft shades, and I have not stopped using it since I bought it. The shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend, and dare I say it but I actually love it more than my Urban Decay Naked Palette! I love wearing Silk Teddy all over the lid with Nudie in the crease and for extra definition Push-Up on the outer half of my lid and Cashmere Bunny in the crease. Heaven also makes for the perfect matte eyebrow bone highlight too, which I'm so pleased about as my Mac Blanc Type was wearing extremely thin.

Too Faced | Better Than Sex Mascara
Another Too Faced product that everyone raves about! It's supposed to be one of those miracle mascaras that does it all; curl, volume, length and definition so I had to pick it up to see what all this fuss was about. Plus the packaing is pretty and pink and yes, that also swayed my decision! I haven't yet tried this one out as I'm waiting for my favourite Benefit Roller Lash to finish. The name is kind of controversial but if I like it I'm sure you'll be seeing more of it on here and over on my Instagram!

Too Faced | Love Flush Blush
As soon as I heard about the new blush releases from Too Faced I was dying to get my hands on at least one. Can we just talk about the packaging here?! I know I may seem about 5 years old but I a-d-o-r-e the heart shaped compact so much, it's looks like a little Polly Pocket! Not to mention the super cute bunny print on the inside, my heart literally can't cope with all the cuteness! Fangirling aside, I bought the shade Justify My Love, which is a beautiful deep pink with subtle shimmer. This stuff is seriously pigmented, so you don't need to use a lot of it (which is also great because it means you can keep those adorable bunnies around for longer). To put it shortly; I need them all.

The Perfect Pamper Evening

I'll admit it, I do love a good pamper evening and I indulge in them probably more than I should (oopsie!) So this blog post is dedicated to my idea of the perfect pamper evening!

Candles, Candles, Candles
There's nothing better than lighting some of your favourite candles to get you in a relaxed mood. Not only do they smell amazing but give your room a cosy, dimly lit atmosphere, which is also extra special in the Winter time!

Take a Bath
Baths are literally one of my favourite things to do, I could never live in a place that doesn't have a bath as I find that taking a soak in the bath really chills me out. A perfect bubble bath isn't complete without lots of bath bomb goodies to pop in and make your bath extra bubbly and smelling delish. I am also definitely one of those people that risks bringing my phone in with me so I can watch a few youtube videos or have a scroll through Instagram and Twitter. To go that extra step you could smooth on a face mask and let it work it's magic whilst you're unwinding in the bath.

Clean Pjs & Fresh Bedding
Nothing makes me feel cosier and cleaner than putting on new pjs and snuggling up in a freshly made bed straight after a hot bubble bath!

Paint Your Nails
Having nice shiny painted nails is one of the best pick me ups and as I don't always have the time to do my nails, I like to take full advantage of the times I do! My favourite polishes are basically every nude pink shade going from Essie and I also adore my Chanel nail varnish in Beige Rose. On the right photo I painted them with a nude base colour and then OPI Princess's Rule over the top!

Netflix Snacks
Obviously for any pamper night, Netflix is a given so pick a film or a series and have a little Netflix binge! Currently me and my boyfriend are obsessed with Prison Break and I also love reliving my teens with epsiodes of Charmed every now and then (yep I was that weird girl at school that fangirled over Buffy and Charmed).
Now of course you can't have a Netflix sesh without the snacks can you! Some of your favourite indulgent treats make for great TV companions, a little pizza, ice cream and hot chocolate once in a while never hurt anyone...right?

Read A Book
Sometimes the best thing to do when pampering yourself is to read a magazine or a book. Take your mind from any current worries and focus on a fictional world instead! If I find a book I really enjoy reading, I can read and read and before I know it, hours have passed! A few of my favourite books are The Time Travellers Wife, Delirium, Before I Fall and The Hunger Games Trilogy.

Braid Your Hair
When having a pamper evening, sometimes I like to just get all my hair off my face (having super long hair can also be a burden). Braids will not only do that for you, but also look super cute at the same time, and they are gentle on your scalp too. It's also a great time to be able to get a bit of practice in of those braids you've always wondered how to do! Here's a link to a tutorial I did for the braid pictured.

High End Beauty Wishlist

For the month of October aka. this month right now (genius), I've decided to give myself a makeup spending ban, eek! My makeup buying habits have become pretty uncontrollable and I should be a bit kinder to my poor old purse and give it a break, plus I just want to see if I can actually do it *fist pump*. My boyfriend also said he'd let me pick out a little something on November 1st as an incentive so I'm basically forced to keep it up aren't I! So if I can't buy anything for now, I sure as hell can oggle at everything online and make a wishlist!

I've been eyeing up these adorable heart shaped blushers from Too Faced for the longest time but always restrained myself from buying. Made up of three lovely shades you can pick and choose which one to use or swirl your brush around for a mixture of all three!

I've only ever heard amazing things about this palette, although the only downside would be the eye-watering price. It comes with two shades, a bronzer to sculpt and a highlighter to give you that filmstar glow. Plus the packaging is just stunning.

3. Chanel, YSL & Dior Nail Polish | £18-19
Since buying my first designer nail polish (Chanel Beige Rose) I've been so impressed with it and have hardly used anything else. I used to be a bit scared of spending so much on a tiny little bottle of polish but since breaking that barrier I sadly want to try them all! Chanel 167 Ballerina, YSL 26 Rose Romantique and Dior 155 Tra-La-La look like such pretty nude pink shades which are my go to nail colours.

Ever since these beauties were released I've basically been completely fangirling over every Instgram pic I see of them. They look so stunning and I've heard that they are super shimmery and pigmented to give you that gorgeous glow. The shade I'd like is Starlight which is the lightest and a really pretty pale white gold shade that I think would match my skintone perfectly.

Another highlighter that I've been dying to get my hands on and this one is all NikkiTutorials fault! She's a bit obsessed with using it in her videos (which are ahhmazing) and I can understand why as it looks so glowy and beautiful on her.

This set of brushes comes in the cutest lilac shell brush holder with rose gold detailing, which is so quirky and unique! The brushes are a pretty pastel shades and they include essential brushes for the face, eyes and lips which is perfect if you want to get your moneys worth/

Jurlique have released a Limited Edition version of their best selling Rosewater Balancing Mist and have housed it in an ultra pretty, ombre pink bottle, which I am in love with! The mist itself has a delicate rose fragrance and is supposed to hydrate and balance, whilst restoring moisture for soft and smooth skin. It is enriched with a blend of five precious rose extracts and sounds like a skincare dream!

8. Valentino Donna Perfume 30ml | £49
Donna is a new fragrance from Valentino and my is it a gorgeous one! I adore the design of the glass bottle with its gold detailing and blush pink colour of the fragrance. The perfume is also a winner too as I gave it a try out when I spotted it in Debenhams. It's a powdery floral scent with rose and vanilla and smells beautiful!

Another new addition to the beauty world is a new foundation from makeup goddess Charlotte Tilbury. Titled the Magic Foundation it is supposed to be a miracle in a bottle. It gives a flawless, full coverage complexion yet feels weightless and is super long lasting on the skin. It pretty much sounds like my dream foundation!

Lush Haul 2015 | Ft. New Christmas Products

Magic Wand, Frozen, Fairy Dust, Candy Mountain, Butterbear, Snow Angel
It's that time of year again when us bath bomb junkies go mad for all of the new Lush holiday collections! They were released at the perfect time because I'd just used up the last of my Lush stash since the last time I'd ransacked the place. I *think* everything I bought is new for Christmas with the exception of the Frozen bath bomb which you may have seen before, although it is still fairly new.

Magic Wand | Reusable Bubble Bar
These were around last year but I'm pretty sure that this time they been given a sparkly makeover and dunked in silvery glitter, a detail in which the five year old in me is extremely pleased about! I love these reusable bubble bars as you can swirl them under your running bath water until you get the desired amount of candy scented pink bubbles, and then save it again for at least another two or three uses. It even comes complete with a delicate ribbon and a little silver bell - cute.

Candy Mountain | Bubble Bar
Another one I used last year and loved! You crumble as much as you want into hot water and it fills your bath with more frothy pink bubbles and a delicious creamy candy and vanilla scent!

Frozen | Bath Bomb
This one isn't part of the Christmas collection as it had already previously been released a few months back, however it's definitely got a Wintery vibe to it. I used this one as soon as I had taken these pictures and it had a lovely fresh and icy scent to it, and turned my bath into the prettiest sky blue colour with lots of delicate silver glitter running through it (although beware the glitter will stick to you afterwards but I'm totally okay with that..)

Snow Angel | Bath Melt
Shaped like a cute little Snow Angel, the top half fizzes into a blanket of white foam, whilst the bottom part is packed with moisturising cocoa butter and melts into a glowy golden glitter. It has a subtle marzipan scent with floral hints to it - so luxurious.

Butterbear | Bath Bomb
Clearly this little guy way too cute to resist, I could probably have bought plenty more of them but I restrained myself. This one smells like yummy vanilla and contains creamy cocoa butter for a super softening bath soak.

Fairy Dust | Dusting Powder
Of course I had to pick up this candy coated dusting powder! If you feel like a bit of a pamper after your bath, sprinkle a bit of this sparkly pink dust over yourself for glistening magical skin! It smells sweet like candyfloss just like the Snow Fairy shower gel scent. I'm aware that this might just be a slight upgrade to those dreaded glittery rollerballs my mum used to smother all over me for my primary school disco (oh the 90's), but I just couldn't help myself!

Favourite Lipstick | MAC Creme Cup

Cremesheen, Sali Hughes Pretty Honest Book

Cremesheen, Sali Hughes Pretty Honest Book

Cremesheen, Sali Hughes Pretty Honest Book

Cremesheen, Sali Hughes Pretty Honest Book

Cremesheen, swatches, sali hughes pretty honest book

So I recently repurchased my third tube of Mac's ever popular Creme Cup lipstick and as I clearly have a lot of love for it, I thought it deserved it's own fancy little blog post dedicated to it!

Creme Cup was the first ever Mac lipstick I owned and it was the perfect choice to start out with (and to kickstart the Mac lipstick addiction but we'll keep that one quiet). Once you buy Creme Cup you'll understand what all the fuss is about, it's a beautiful milky, baby pink shade that just seems to look stunning on everyone. The finish is a Cremesheen, so it feels lovely and creamy on the lips and also has a slight gloss/sheen to it, it feels really comfortable to wear but obviously you will need to reapply it as the day goes on. It looks great as a soft daytime shade but also looks gorgeous paired with smokey eyes and false lashes so it's one that you can dress up or down!

At the moment I can't stop wearing it over the top of Bobbi Brown Ballet Pink lip liner, I love the two together and I'm barely reaching for anything else! I highly recommend this one if you are a Mac lipstick newbie as you simply can't go wrong with it.

Do you own Creme Cup?

Huge Korean Beauty Haul | Etude House & Skin Food

Uh oh, here lies evidence of a major weak moment whilst late night online shopping! I've heard about a few Korean beauty brands before but never really took much notice of it, so it wasn't until I saw how utterly adorable all of it was that I instantly wanted to try a few things out! I ordered from a website called Cosmetic-Love and they shipped it out to me all the way from Korea in just over a week which was really good as the delivery was free!

Etude House | Lovely Cookie Blusher | Rose Sugar Macaron & Strawberry Choux

I saw the packaging of these and fell for them. I just love those little powder puffs with the adorable pink bows on them (whether I'll actually use them to apply the blush is a different story however...). I bought Rose Sugar Macaron which is a pretty pink with shimmer, and Strawberry Choux which is the most gorgeous pastel pink shade which I wore the other day and l.o.v.e.d it. Both apply really pigmented which I was really pleased about.

Skin Food | Sugar Cookie Blush | No. 1 Bebe Pink

I was definitely influenced by the cute cherub logo on this one and I went for a lovely pale, candy pink shade. I will say however that I was really disappointed with this one, because there is barely any pigmentation to it that it's pointless even trying to use it!

Etude House | Dear My Blooming Lipstick | PK002

The risk with buying online is that you have to make your decisions based on dodgy online swatches and both the lipsticks I ordered aren't really what I was expecting which is a little annoying. This one is however a vivid fushia pink that applies fairly sheer on the lips, it's not really my kind of shade but it's one I'll definitely use it at some point. I love the little heart print on the actual lipstick and the packaging is a total winner!

Etude House | Dear My Wish Lipstick | BE101

This one is a nude peachy brown and arrived far more brown toned than I was expecting which was a bit of a bummer. I was shocked when I first applied it though as it's so so pigmented I barely needed to use any! The packaging is similar to the other one I bought but with a slightly different placement of the bow and again, completely adorable!

Etude House | Face Designing Brightener Highlighter | Pink Beam

Heart eyed emojis all round!!! I am so in love with the little heart print dotted all over this highlighter that I kinda wanted to just keep it in pristine condition forever! I did manage to bring myself to swatch it however and it gives the prettiest pinky glow.

Skin Food | Nail Vita Alpha Polish | 03 Laura, 08 Beautiful Britten

I also decided to try out some nail polish and went with a lovely pinky peach shade and a nude mannequin colour. I've tried Laura once and it applied opaque in two coats and streak free!

Have you tried any Korean makeup?
