I can't deny that I love a hot bubble bath. I go to Uni so whenever I visit home I officially turn into the household bathroom hogger (sorry sis). Just give me Netflix and a bath bomb and that'll be an easy 1 & 1/2 hours killed, seriously if you don't watch movies in the bathtub then you need to get right on and do that, because what have you even been doing all your life. I'll stay in there until I'm past looking like a prune and I don't even care! So my recent trip into town, with the sole mindset to just pop to the bank, turned into a mini field day in Lush. You might be thinking I'm quite literally tossing my money down the plughole, but c'mon it smells good, looks pretty and I enjoy it so leave me be you big old meany.
As soon as I walked into the store I cursed the Easter collection for being beyond adorable, as it meant my feeble plan to simply browse was definitely out the window. Who was I kidding anyway, I mean there's a freaking bunny shaped bath bomb and you've got to be the biggest raincloud of doom to not find that the best thing ever.
I resisted the temptation to stash about 20 of the 'Hoppity Poppity' bath bombs and only took home one of the little guys. It's got a lovely scent made with Violet Leaf, Lime Oils and Lavender, to me it smells just like Parma Violets, and inside apparently there is popping candy!
I also bought the 'Golden Egg' bath bomb because the honey and toffee scent is incredible, if you've ever smelt their 'Honey I Washed The Kids' soap then it's similar to that. It also contains Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter for super soft skin, and to state the obvious it's completely covered in gold glitter. It's either going to be a ball of sparkly amazingness, or me and my bathroom are gonna look like we've raided the glitter section of an arts & crafts shop.
Finally I also purchased the 'Yummy Mummy' shower gel, a limited edition for, you guessed it, Mother's day. I'm certainly not a mother but that's not gonna stop me buying it because I am a shower gel fiend (flashback to Yorkie bar branded 'not for girls' pfft, just gimme the damn chocolate bar). To me it smells like a really lovely blend of florals with a cotton candy hint to it, if the 'Snow Fairy' shower gel was way too sweet for you then you will love this!
A fairly small haul as they go but there was so much more that I restrained myself from purchasing!
What do you think of Lush's Easter collection?
