Cohorted February Beauty Box

If you hadn't already heard, the beauty brand Cohorted has recently jumped on the beauty box bandwagon. If you're not familiar with Cohorted, it's basically a website that sells luxury beauty products at a discounted price. Each week there are four new 'cohorts' that go up on the site and the more people that agree to buy the cohorted product, the cheaper it gets! As they are well known for their high end brands I was pretty excited to hear about their new beauty box release.

Surprisingly this is the first beauty box I've ever purchased, I've always been a bit apprehensive that I'll be chucking my money away for a glorified box of sachet samples. Retailing at £19.99, it's not the cheapest of beauty boxes, but the contents is worth £67.50! In this month's edition you get four full size beauty products and one deluxe sample size, no useless sachets in sight, thank god!

Packaged in a beautiful, sleek black box, tied with a pretty ribbon, it's classic but definitely looks the part. Inside was a Dolce & Gabbana Clarifying Lotion, Benefit Bella Bamba Lip Gloss, Korres Milk Protein Cream Cleanser, Korres Eye Primer and a 3ml Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara. The only product I wasn't particularly thrilled about was the Benefit lipgloss, purely because the watermelon shade isn't something I would ever wear but I guess that's just personal preference, the rest I'm looking forward to trying! Each month five of the boxes contain a 'super product', this months was the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, mega jealous of the lucky people that found that in their boxes!

Unlike many beauty boxes available, this one isn't a subscription service so you're able to pick and choose which month you'd like to purchase. Obviously that means it's a first come, first serve basis so if you want one you do have to be quick, February's box sold out instantly!

Would you buy a Cohorted box? Which beauty boxes would you recommend?

xoxo

  1. I loved the idea of grab it while you can, instead of the monthly subscription. This one looks amazing and I have pre ordered the March one :)

    1. Yeah same I think it's a great idea because you don't feel like you're signing your life away haha. Although I guess you risk not getting one if they sell out quickly! xo

  2. This looks like such a good box! I think it's definitely the best value for money one I've seen and I love that it doesn't come with a subscription. Think I'll try and get my hands on the next one!

  3. I spent over half an hour faffing about on the website when they released this box and although I managed to add one into my basket when I got to the checkout it came up 'sold out' I was pretty gutted! The products look fab, I didn't realise the products would all be high end think you've got a bargain here lovely. Maybe I need to go and pre-order the March subscription box so I don't miss out again x x

    1. Ah that's a shame you didn't get one, I was trying for a while too so I was quite surprised I actually managed to purchase one! I think there was only 100 boxes though but I think for March there's 300 so hopefully it will be easier to get one each month if there is more! xo

    1. Aw no! I'll admit I do think it was very over-hyped for what what actually in the box but I'm enjoying it all the same! xo

  6. I'm so jealous you managed to get your hands on the first box, I didn't manage to get hold of one sadly! The Bobbi Brown mascara is so good, I've received a sample before and it makes your lashes look lovely! :) I hope I can get my hands on the March Box!

  7. I managed to get one too but I was personally really disappointed - also I read someone else's post on this box and apparently most of the items are old and discontinued :(
